Like many regions, Taupō continues to grapple with housing affordability issues. Guided by the Housing Strategy, we are working with Council on a number of initiatives in the District to improve housing outcomes and lift community wellbeing.

As our first line of defence, flood protection schemes are crucial in our climate resilience — but they need significant upgrading that regional councils alone cannot afford.

In early 2022, Maven and Habilis partnered to develop the business case for a redeveloped harbour at Kaikōura, aimed at improving an important regional infrastructure asset.

Habilis worked with the Ōpōtiki District Council over a number of years to develop and refine the business cases for the new harbour in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.

In 2021, the Gisborne District Council, Sport Gisborne Tairāwhiti and Trust Tairāwhiti recognised the need to take a holistic approach to the region’s sporting and active recreational facilities.
